Halls/stands info

This can display two ways:

  • location on floorplan (real hall and stand)

  • text fields hall and stand that is not related to the floor plan

In the first case, current exhibitor location will display on the floor plan, in pairs- hall+stand. There is no limit on these locations; they will display one by one in a list. By clicking on one of these locations, the user will be redirected to the floor plan page (internal or vendor floor plan)

In the second case, just text from text fields will display. Location tags have another grey color and they are not clickable. If the exhibitor has a real hall+stand location, text that is not related to the floor plan will be ignored.

If the link was filled in the correct format, (ex. https://google.com) by clicking on link the user will be redirected to this link. If there is just text in that field, for example “hello”, this won’t be clickable but will still display.

Social media icons with links

The platform supports these 5 social media links: Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram.
The icon of any social media platform will show only if the link to this social media platform is not empty for the current exhibitor. Social media links for the exhibitor should be set up in the system predefined fields.
By clicking on each icon, the user will be redirected to that link or directly to the installed app of that social media platform depending on the app.

photo_5467905247038004748_y.jpg

Interaction buttons

Favorite / meet / message buttons are available and show only for logged in users, based on the permission matrix and networking opt in setting.

Important notes about the Meet button:

  • Team members of the current exhibitor can’t have a meeting with the parent exhibitor so for them the meeting button is not avaliable.

  • The "Meet" button is only displayed on exhibitor profiles if at least one team member is available for meetings.

    • The system checks each team member's availability based on permissions, networking opt-in status, time slots, exhibitor settings, and meeting limits.

    • If no team members are available, the "Meet" button is hidden.

Sessions we speak at:

  • Shows Exhibitor events / Exhibitor sessions where at least one team member of the exhibitor is added as a speaker, excluding on-demand sessions.

  • Sorting is by event start/session time

  • Only 2 cards are shown by default.

    • If additional cards are present, they are hidden and a "Show More" button is included that, when clicked, reveals the remaining cards.

    • Once all cards are visible, the button text changes to "Show Less", allowing the user to toggle back to the default view of 2 cards.

Sponsored sessions:

  • Shows Organizer Sessions where Exhibitor is a Sponsor, excluding on-demand sessions.

Troubleshooting:

Points to check:

  • Issue: Difference in exhibitor Team Members between Web (backend) & App.

    • The most common issue is sync delay but sometimes Team Members are opted out of networking and that’s why they are not displayed in the “Team Members” tab under the App Exhibitor Page.

      • Solution: These team members should opt in.

  • Issue: Interaction buttons are displaying or not displaying as expected

    • The Permission Matrix settings can be the cause of visibility/invisibility for a particular company profile and the respective interaction buttons.

      • Solution - open Networking & Matchmaking module >>> Manage Permissions and enable/disable the necessary restrictions.

  • Issue: Video block is not displayed properly

    • In most cases the user made a mistake during the embed-code set up or video file upload.

      • Solution - open the Exhibitor profile from the backend using the Customer Service button to check what is happening with this video and how this video was added on the platform

  • Issue: Social icons and/or website details are not displayed or are not hyperlinked properly

    • In most cases this is due to an error in the link that was added

      • Solution - open the Exhibitor profile from the backend using the Customer Service button to check what is happening with these links for social or/and website and how they were added on the platform
