Custom Forms

Overview

Using Website Builder a custom form can be added to any page using the custom form block. This feature includes:

  • Form Display Options: Choose to display forms as embedded blocks, pop-ups, or sidebars.

  • Pop-Up Triggers: Configure pop-up forms to appear based on time delay, user action (like clicking a button), or scrolling behavior.

  • Form Customization: Add, remove, and rearrange fields (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Email, Company, Job Title, Phone, etc.). Customize colors, fonts, and button styles to match your branding.

  • Button Linking: Link any button to open a form as a pop-up or redirect to a form page.

  • CAPTCHA Integration: Built-in CAPTCHA to prevent spam.

  • Media Support: Option to include images or videos in forms.

  • Feedback Forms: Dedicated feedback form templates, including pop-up options.

  • Device Targeting: Specify which devices (desktop, mobile) the pop-up should appear on.

  • Notifications: Standard success notifications are shown after form submission; custom notifications are not yet supported.

    • In the Website Builder, add a “Custom Form” block to your page.

  2. Choose Display Type:

    • Select whether the form should be embedded, a pop-up, or a sidebar.

  3. Customize Fields:

    • Add, remove, or rearrange fields as needed. Set field types and validation.

  4. Style the Form:

    • Adjust colors, fonts, and button styles to match your site’s branding.

  5. Configure Triggers (for Pop-Ups):

    • Set when the pop-up should appear (e.g., after X seconds, on scroll, or on button click).

  6. Link to Buttons:

    • Any button on your site can be linked to open a form pop-up or redirect to a form page.

  7. Enable CAPTCHA:

    • Turn on CAPTCHA for spam protection.

  8. Save and Preview:

    • Preview the form in the builder to ensure it looks and behaves as expected.

Differences Between Web and App

  • Web:

    • Full admin interface for creating, customizing, and previewing forms.

    • All display options (embedded, pop-up, sidebar) are supported.

    • Advanced triggers and styling options available.

  • App:

    • Forms can be displayed and filled out by users, but admin customization and advanced triggers are managed via the web interface.

    • Some pop-up or sidebar behaviors may be simplified or adapted for mobile app UX.
