App Messenger

The “Messages” page of the app contains the list of chats of that user.

Limits on chat can be set in the category settings of participants (exhibitor owner for team members) and exhibitors.

On the top of the page, in the right corner, there are 2 buttons:

  • Contacts (platform accounts that were marked as favourites)

  • Create group chat (after tapping on the button, a pop-up will appear that displays these fields:

    • Group name

    • Search field (applied for contacts list)

      • Contacts list

      • “Create a group chat” button

      • Contacts (platform accounts that were marked as favourites)

On the top of the chats list, the last edited chat is displayed

In the chats list “chat cards” are shown and may be 2 types:

  • Personal chat where the card contains:

    • The Participant (Exhibitor) logo (or placeholder image based of placeholders settings, if applicable, following the same rules as on any other app page)

    • The Participant name, company name and job title

      • It the chat is with an exhibitor, then only company name is displayed

    • The last message (1 row limit)

    • The date and time of the last message

    • 3 dot Settings button where the chat can be deleted

  • Group chat where the card contains:

    • The group chat logo (default image)

    • The chat name

      • The number of participants in the chat

      • The date and time of the last message

      • Settings button where the participant can leave the chat or the admin can delete that chat

Admin of group chat can also:

  • edit chat name

  • assign a particpant as an admin

  • assign a participant as a moderator

  • Kick someone from the chat

  • Provide “read only” rules
