App Recommendations Page

Feature Purpose:

This new page closes the gap between event website and the mobile app where the recommendation page was previously unavailable

Working with this Feature:

• Globally the availability of “Recommendations” is managed in Module Management (can be turned ON/OFF)

• As with any other app page, this page can be managed in app builder (turn on/off; visibility; position)

Additional options include: renaming, changing icon, visibility, and add to bottom navigation

• The same options will be used for the website and app and which items will be displayed is managed under Admin panel → Networking & Matchmaking → Recommendations

  • Please note that on the mobile app, only these items will be displayed: Exhibitors, Products, Sessions, Visitors, Speakers.

Troubleshooting:

• Visibility of exhibitor profiles or participant profiles is linked to the permission matrix: Admin Panel → Networking & Matchmaking → Manage permissions

• Visibility of Participants also depends on networking opt-in settings

• Visibility of sessions depends of session settings ( for whom is visible)

Please note: Recommended participants visibility may differ from what is available on the Delegates list page

• Mobile app display will vary depending on the operating system (Android or Apple):

  • Android only displays the favorite button (can be hidden in case of networking opt-in setting of current user account)

• iOS app displays the favorite, meeting and message icons
