Background Image for Online Rooms

Feature Purpose:

A custom background image an be used by the exhibitor the online room and attendees who are waiting for the meeting, session or exhibitor event to start will see this image.

Working with this Feature:

For sessions and exhibitor events, the image should be uploaded on the session or exhibitor event page in admin/events respectively (under Management → Sessions → Session edit page) .

For meetings, the image should be uploaded in the exhibitor profile in the admin panel by the organiser or by the exhibitor on the frontend under the Sponsorship menu → Online room settings tab.

Please note there are 2 items you must enable:

  1. The exhibitor must have a “sponsorship” status to manage the background image on the frontend under the Sponsorship section. Sponsorship status can be allowed (or disallowed) at the individual exhibitor level in the backend profile of the selected exhibitor or enabled at the category level in Registration settings > Exhibitor > Categories > gear icon for all exhibitors in that category

  2. The setting “Allow customize room for exhibitors” must be enabled in admin/registration/esettings (Registration Settings → Exhibitor → Additional Settings):

If the setting “Allow customize room for exhibitors” is disabled, then the tab Online room settings under the Sponsorship will remains as hidden.

For the background image, the following format and ratio apply for uploading images on the front and admin panel):

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG

  • Aspect Ratio 1.7

A “preview” option is provided in order to see how the background image will look in the online room.


Troubleshooting:

  • If the specific exhibitor doesn’t have the option to customize the image, please check his backend profile → Sponsorship tab to ensure that Sponsorship status has been made available for this account on the individual or category level.

  • If exhibitors don’t have the option to customize the image, please check that the setting to “Allow customize room for exhibitors” is enabled under Registration Settings → Exhibitor → Additional Settings.

  • The sync proccess of the changes applied could take some time. To speed up the sync and see the changes faster, please clear your cache via this simple link usage admin/general/clearcache
