Additional video

Feature Purpose:

The "Additional Video" feature is designed to enhance exhibitor profiles by allowing them to upload videos. This functionality makes the profiles more engaging and informative for other users, providing a dynamic way to showcase products, services, and brand stories.

Working with this Feature:

To enable and manage the "Additional Video" feature, follow these steps:

  1. Admin Configuration:

    • Navigate to admin -> registration -> exhibitor registration -> additional settings.

    • Locate the setting "Allow additional video".

    • Enable this setting to give exhibitor admins the ability to turn on the "Allow additional video" toggle on exhibitor profiles.

  2. Exhibitor Management:

    • Once the feature is enabled, exhibitors can manage their additional video uploads from the front end.

    • The maximum upload size for videos is specified under admin / general / settings in the "Server settings" section.

    • Exhibitors can upload videos directly to their profiles, enhancing their visibility and engagement with potential clients and partners.

  3. Category Level - Enable / Disable:

    • In the exhibitor category settings, there is a toggle named "Do not allow additional video".

    • When enabled, this setting prevents all exhibitors within that category from uploading additional videos, regardless of the general "Allow additional video" setting in admin/ exhibitor registration/ settings.

  4. Individual Level - Enable / Disable:

    • On the new exhibitor profile's Settings page, there will be a section for allowing additional videos on an individual level. This feature provides granular control for each exhibitor, ensuring that the settings can be customized according to specific needs. (More information will be provided once this feature is released.)
