Default email templates

Feature Purpose:

Default email templates are provided to make it easier to create email marketing campaigns

Below is the list of all default email templates that exist under Marketing >>> Campaigns:

All the default email templates can be previewed and customized based on your needs:

Default Email Campaign Templates for All Events

Currently, we have default email templates available for all events.

The templates are located in the admin panel under admin/campaigns/list, with the following names and subject lines:

1. Pre-Event Campaign Template 1

   • Subject line: Your Essential Event Kickstart Guide

   • Features: Login URL and Recommended Products

2. Pre-Event Campaign Template 2

   • Subject line: Your Personalized Event Experience Awaits!

   • Features: Recommended Products and Sessions

3. Pre-Event Campaign Template 3

   • Subject line: Get Ready for Your Upcoming Event Interactions

   • Features: Engagement Metrics

4. Pre-Event Campaign Template 4

   • Subject line: Complete Your Registration and Get Your Electronic Badge Now!

   • Features: Download App Links

5. Pre-Event Campaign Template 5

   • Subject line: Explore Your Personalized Event Experience and Recommendations

   • Features: Event Information and Recommended Products

6. Event Template 6

   • Subject line: Welcome to Day 1 of an Exciting Week!

   • Features: Recommended News and Sessions

Each template comes with a default banner and footer, which can be customized to reflect the specific event.

Cloning and Multi-Language Support

When an event is cloned, any existing templates, including their modifications and language versions (e.g., English, French), are carried over to the new event. This ensures that admins do not need to recreate templates from scratch, saving time and maintaining consistency across events.

These templates are only available for events that were created after November 8th 2023.

Troubleshooting:

Question:

Can the default campaign emails include an Activation link reminding users to activate their profile along with other actions?

Answer:

Yes, the ‘Activation Link’ variable can be added to all campaign emails.

Question:

Can we copy an email template within the campaign email list?

Answer:

Yes, we do have an option to copy the email templates

Question:

Can the email templates be created in different languages within the campaigns section?

Answer:

Yes, once multilanguage is enabled for the event, we can switch between the languages and create the email in different languages.

Question:

The Pre-Event Campaign Template 2 (Recommended Products and Sessions) email consists of the recommended sessions and products blocks but not showing the correct results based on my Interests and activities. How can we fix this?

Answer:

Recommendation results feeds off the Interest and Activity categories selected by the user so please ensure that the Interests are filled out correctly within the user profile.
