Deleting an App

Feature Purpose:

This feature allows users to delete apps from their app builder list. However, deleting an app in the app builder does not remove the app from the app stores. Instead, it simply removes the app's availability for further setup or changes within the app builder interface.

Working with the Feature: 

The initial step would be to locate this setting within the App builder. Kindly follow the below steps:-

1. Within the admin panel select the option Apps

2. Within the app, choose the specific app

Deleting Apps:

• Users can delete apps from their app builder list using the provided delete button. This action removes the app's setup options and settings from the app builder interface.

• Deleted apps that were previously published in beta or release versions will continue to exist in the app stores but without any further setup or changes possible from the app builder.

Reverting Deletions:

• Once an app is deleted from the app builder, the action cannot be reverted. It's important for users to be certain before proceeding with app deletion.

Removing Apps from Stores:

• To remove an app completely from the app stores, users must create a task in Jira. Only developers have permission to delete apps from the stores.

Deleting an app from the app builder is a permanent action and should be done with caution. It's advisable to ensure that all necessary backups and data exports are completed before deleting an app.
