August 2026 Release Notes

Default View Setting (List / Grid / Calendar) for Sessions & Exhibitor Events ( EP-55021 )

  • What: Added an admin configuration under Sessions Config allowing organizers to set the default layout view (List, Grid, or Calendar) for the front-end Sessions page.

  • Why: The Sessions page previously defaulted only to a fixed grid/card layout, which was hard to scan for events with dense, multi-track schedules.

  • How it's helpful: Organizers can choose the layout that best fits their event's content density and complexity, giving attendees an optimal first-visit browsing experience.

Interactive Session Calendar View ( EP-51704 )

  • What: Introduced a dedicated Calendar component for Sessions featuring a multi-day Week Glance, Day Detail view, Google Calendar–style cascade overlap for concurrent sessions, "+N more" overflow chips, and a live "Now" indicator.

  • Why: Attendees had to browse schedules in static list/card layouts without a unified visual timeline across event days.

  • How it's helpful: Attendees can visualize the full event agenda at a glance, seamlessly switch between weekly and daily views, and easily see in-progress sessions.

Calendar Search, Prioritisation & Logged-Out Exploration ( EP-51705 )

  • What: Added real-time search by session title or speaker name within the calendar, bookmark-based slot prioritization for overlapping sessions, and seamless guest exploration with intent-preserving login prompts.

  • Why: Attendees needed fast filtering on calendar schedules, while unauthenticated users needed to explore the agenda before being required to log in.

  • How it's helpful: Attendees can instantly locate relevant sessions and see their bookmarked events surfaced first, while prospective attendees can explore the schedule with zero upfront friction.

Session Side Drawer & Schedule Bookmarking ( EP-51706 )

  • What: Built a 440px slide-out drawer that opens when clicking a calendar session block, showing session details, track indicators, sponsors, and an inline "Add to schedule" bookmark action.

  • Why: Attendees previously had to navigate to separate pages to inspect session details, losing their place and scroll position in the calendar.

  • How it's helpful: Attendees can evaluate full session details and build their personal schedule shortlist directly within the calendar view without navigating away.

Custom Colors for Tracks ( EP-55466 )

  • What: Added support for custom color configuration on event tracks.

  • Why: Standardized track colors limited visual distinction across complex agendas and branded event themes.

  • How it's helpful: Organizers can color-code content streams to make tracks immediately recognizable in calendar and list views.

Add isScheduled to Sessions Calendar API Response ( EP-55558 )

  • What: Extended the sessionsCalendarView API endpoint response to include an isScheduled boolean flag on each session item.

  • Why: The frontend calendar needed an efficient way to indicate whether a session is already present in the logged-in user's personal agenda without additional round-trip requests.

  • How it's helpful: Improves frontend performance and ensures schedule bookmark states render immediately in calendar views.

Skip Payment Form for 100% Discounted (Zero Total) Bookings ( EP-55358 )

  • What: Updated the booking flow so applying a 100% discount converts the action button to "Complete Booking" and routes directly to the success page, bypassing the payment details form.

  • Why: Attendees completing free bookings or using 100% discount codes were still forced through a redundant payment information screen.

  • How it's helpful: Eliminates unnecessary data entry and checkout friction for zero-total transactions.

Display Exhibitor Events Without Assigned Speakers on Mobile ( EP-54235 )

  • What: Updated mobile exhibitor profiles to display all exhibitor events in the profile schedule, even when no team member is assigned as a speaker.

  • Why: The mobile app previously filtered out exhibitor events lacking an explicit speaker, creating a discrepancy with the web platform.

  • How it's helpful: Attendees browsing on mobile get complete visibility of an exhibitor's event schedule.

Independent OTP Authentication Configuration for Company and Individual Profiles ( EP-54790 )

  • What: Implemented independent OTP authentication configuration support for company profiles and individual profiles within events.

  • Why: Event organizers needed granular control over OTP login requirements depending on user profile types.

  • How it's helpful: Organizers can enforce tailored security and access requirements based on their event structure.

Enable Conference Floor Plan Locations for Exhibitor Events Beyond Assigned Booth ( EP-55020 )

  • What: Added an opt-in organizer setting allowing exhibitor events to select mapped conference floor plan locations (e.g., conference halls and meeting rooms) beyond their assigned booth.

  • Why: Exhibitors hosting workshops or presentations in conference rooms could previously only select their booth or unmapped text locations.

  • How it's helpful: Exhibitor events held in conference facilities are now linked to the interactive floor plan for easier attendee navigation.

Granular Selection for Event Cloning ( EP-52816 )

  • What: Extended the event cloning dialog with individual checkboxes to selectively clone or exclude Sponsors, News, Sessions, Local Categories, and Floor Plans.

  • Why: Previously, these components were automatically cloned into new events and had to be manually purged, taking substantial setup time for recurring events.

  • How it's helpful: Organizers save hours of manual cleanup by duplicating only the content categories relevant to the new edition.

API V3 Global Product Management (Create, Update, Delete) ( EP-52837 , EP-52840 , EP-52841 )

  • What: Introduced Public API V3 endpoints (POST /api/v3/products, PATCH /api/v3/products/{id}, DELETE /api/v3/products/{id}) to create, update, and delete global product entities decoupled from specific events.

  • Why: The product architecture was redesigned to allow exhibitors to manage a master product catalog and bind products to multiple events independently.

  • How it's helpful: External integrations and exhibitors can programmatically manage product listings globally across events.

API V3 Product Media, Image, and Video Endpoints ( EP-55240 , EP-55241 , EP-55242 , EP-55243 , EP-55533 , EP-55534 )

  • What: Delivered dedicated V3 endpoints for uploading/removing product gallery images (with automatic main image reindexing), hosted videos, and downloadable media documents (PDFs, brochures, datasheets).

  • Why: Rich product media was previously bound to monolithic records without dedicated, fine-grained sub-resource APIs.

  • How it's helpful: Enables full programmatic management of product digital assets with strict size limits, MIME sniffing, and automated storage cleanup.

Centralized Integrations Catalog API ( EP-55251 )

  • What: Created a unified catalog endpoint (GET /api/v1/integrations) delivering all supported third-party integrations with category tags, descriptions, icons, and per-event active statuses.

  • Why: Third-party integrations were previously configured across fragmented settings screens without a central source of truth.

  • How it's helpful: Powers the new Admin Panel Integrations hub, allowing organizers to browse, filter, and monitor all platform integrations in one central place.
