It typically provides a user-friendly interface with drag-and-drop functionality, pre-designed templates, and various customization options. Website builder is designed to simplify the website creation process, enabling users to design and publish websites quickly and easily.

This article talks about the website builder module, exploring the features it encompasses and how to effectively utilize them in creating the event website.

Before we get started we need to enable the New Website Builder Module from Admin Panel → Event SetUp → Module Management → Backend → New Website Builder (Beta)

1. Content Block Content Block: Website Builder

A content block in a website builder refers to a modular unit or section that can be added to a webpage to display specific types of content. Website builders often use a block-based approach to design, allowing users to add, rearrange, and customize these content blocks to create the layout of their web pages.

Content blocks include various elements such as text, images, videos, forms, buttons, and more. Organizers can typically drag and drop these blocks onto the webpage, adjusting their placement and appearance to create a visually appealing and functional website.

2. System Block

The use of system blocks simplifies the website development process by providing standardized and customizable elements that can be easily integrated to create a cohesive and visually appealing website.

3. Site Pages: How to Create a Website | Site-Pages

A site page is referred to as a webpage or an individual document or file created within a website that is accessible through a website. Each page on a website typically contains specific content, such as text, images, multimedia, and interactive elements, contributing to the overall information and functionality of the site. This block allows the organizer to build various pages for their website based on the information and content they want to include in their website

4. Global Settings: Global Settings: Website Builder

This block helps the organizer manage the settings of the website globally rather than configuring each block individually.

Text Style, Branding Color, Button Colors and SEOs can be globally configured for the entire website, eliminating the need to make adjustments for each block individually.

5. Header Settings Header & Footer: Website Builder | Header

This section helps in designing the layout of the header of the website. Design and content in the website header can vary based on the website's purpose and preference of the organizer.

The header is a crucial component for user experience, providing a visual identity for the website and offering quick access to important sections or actions. Elements commonly found in a website header include the site logo or name, navigation links, contact information, and often, interactive features such as search bars or user account options.

All these components can be configured using the Header Setting

6. Footer Settings Header & Footer: Website Builder | Footer

The website footer is the bottom section of a webpage that typically contains important information, links, and additional details. It is a consistent feature across web pages and serves various purposes, contributing to the overall user experience and providing essential information.

Like the header, the organiser can also manage the footer of the website by using the Footer Block/Settings.
