Organiser Client - Global categories management

Key Functionalities and Usage:

  • Adding and Managing Categories:

    • Users can add new main categories in the Global Categories section by clicking "Create New Main Category". Each category can be customized, edited, or deleted as needed. Subcategories can also be added to main categories by clicking the "+" icon, providing a flexible structure for detailed categorization.

  • Bulk Import and Export of Categories:

    • The Import Categories from XLS file and Export Categories to XLS file options support bulk handling of categories. Users can easily upload a spreadsheet with category details or download an existing set of categories as an XLS file, which can be useful for maintaining consistency across events or for backup purposes. An example file with a pre-defined structure is available for download to guide users in creating a compatible file for importing categories.

  • Content Language Settings:

    • The Content Language setting enables organizers to adapt categories to the language preferences of their audience, providing a localized experience and ensuring that categories are accessible and meaningful to users from different regions.
