Self-managed Meetings
Feature Purpose
Self-managed Meetings are participant-initiated 1:1 meetings booked directly between two users — one user sends a meeting request and the other accepts, declines, or proposes a reschedule.
Unlike the formats grouped under Meeting Formats (Speed Networking, Meeting Program, Concierge Meetings, Round Tables, Exhibitor Events), Self-managed Meetings do not rely on an organiser-driven schedule or matching algorithm: users find each other through search, recommendations, or directory listings and book directly into the slots each has made available.
Admin panel location
Self-managed Meetings settings sit under Networking & Matchmaking → Meetings. This location is unchanged by the Meeting Formats reorganisation — only the structured formats (Speed Networking, Meeting Program, Concierge Meetings, Round Tables, Exhibitor Events) were moved into the new Meeting Formats section.
