Route Plotting via CrowdConnected

Overview

ExpoFP SDK integrates with CrowdConnected to manage the automatic start and stop of the SDK based on operational mode, enabling ExpoFP floor plans to receive coordinates and display a blue dot for user location.

User Permissions Required

Users must grant location permissions for this feature to function within the mobile app. The initial location permission request prompts users to allow location access while using the app, explaining that this enables the display of the blue dot and provides location-based notifications during the event.

If users initially grant foreground permissions, they may later be prompted to upgrade to background location access, which is necessary to continue receiving event-related notifications and to support the safe management of the event environment.

In cases where no location permission is granted, a reminder text will appear at the top or bottom of the map view screen, informing users that the blue dot is unavailable and providing a prompt to update location permissions in the app settings.
