Enabling Lead Scanning for Exhibitors
Note: As of June 2026, the "Enable for all (free)" global toggle has been removed from the Admin Panel. Lead capture enablement is now managed at the exhibitor category or individual exhibitor level.
Lead capture permissions can now be managed in the Admin Panel under Exhibitor Manual → Global Settings. Access is controlled at the exhibitor category or individual exhibitor profile level — only exhibitors or team members who have the Lead Capture option enabled on their profile (in the Admin Panel) will be able to use this feature.
Before this change, the ability to grant lead scanning capabilities to all exhibitors and their team members was provided via the “Enable for all (free)” toggle in the Lead Capture section. When this setting was turned on, all exhibitors and their team members had access to lead scanning functionality.

Lead Scanning Process and Options
After scanning a visitor’s badge, the Lead Screen is displayed, allowing the exhibitor to record detailed information about the lead. The following options are available:

Rating (Star Rating) – Allows team members to assign a star rating to the lead based on their assessment.

Participant Type – Categorize the scanned participant as a:

Potential Client

Potential Partner
-
Supplier
-
Other

Questions – Additional qualifying questions include:

Client Type: Specify if the client is “Old” or “New.”

Contacted: Indicate if the lead has been contacted (Yes/No).

Notes Area – A text area is provided for team members to add any additional notes or comments relevant to the lead.

Products – If the exhibitor has listed products on the platform, these products will appear on the lead screen, allowing the team to mark which products the lead is interested in.
Editing Saved Leads
Each lead scan is stored in the system and can be edited later if additional information needs to be added or corrected.
Advanced Lead Capture Features (Custom Lead Questions)
