New Schedule Page

We have a new and more advanced Schedule page that helps users filter out the scheduled activities for a specific date. These changes improve ease-of-function and visibility to help you plan your event schedule better.

  • Sync To Calendar, Download Schedule and Add Blocked Time have been pushed to the top of the page

Team Schedule page

  • Removed “All“, “Meetings“, “Sessions“, etc. tabs from the schedule page and instead we have introduced Filters that help the user filter out their scheduled activities for the selected date

The Schedule Page presents all the event dates in the date selector, instead of only displaying dates where a meeting, session, or event is scheduled for the user.

In case of adding items using a direct link (meeting/sessions/exhibitor events)any logged-in user who follows a direct invite link for an item that blocks time will now encounter a check. This check will prevent the addition of the item to the schedule if it's time overlaps, even partially, with another item already scheduled that blocks time. In this scenario, the system displays an error message.

For users who are not logged in and follow an invite link, they will be redirected to the login page first. After logging in, they will be directed to the schedule page to check if there already exists an item that blocks time.

This rule is applicable to all meetings/sessions/exhibitor events

The new schedule container will consist of:

  • Team member selection: This element appears on the Team schedule page as a dropdown that lists all the team members once clicked by the exhibitor

    The order of team members is in alphabetical order by default, first, it will list all admin team members in alphabetical order and then regular team members in alphabetical order

If a Team member blocks any date & time, then Exhibitor team schedule will have that date & time as well. Blocking the time can be done any time irrespective of the event days.

The exhibitor can select one team member at a time to view his schedule

For parent exhibitors, the list will contain his team members, and also the team members of his child exhibitors, divided into groups according to their child exhibitors

  • Filters: This tab consists of 2 options Activities and Activity Keys

    • Activities: It tab further consists of Diary and Optional activities

Diary Activities includes events/activities which blocks the slot for the user like confirmed meeting, sessions and Exhibitor events where the user is a Speaker or Moderator or Exhibitor events that blocks users time slots and the blocked slots

Optional Activities includes Pending or Incoming Meeting or any engagement (sessions) that doesn’t block the users time slot

Rescheduling the Exhibitor Event is not recommended because if the exhibitor event is added with a blocked time setting and after rescheduling if it overlaps with the user's other blocked events/activities, it will be at the discretion of the user as which event/activity he wants to join.

  • Activity Key: It consists of all the activities the user is involved in for the specified date like Incoming Meetings, Confirmed Meetings, Sessions Member Speaker/Moderator, Events Member Speaker/Moderator etc.

It doesn’t include cancelled meetings

All the activities that are scheduled for the specified date will be checked and will also be visible as Activity Legend on the bottom left of the screen.

Organizer can manage the taxonomy and colour codes for Diary and Optional Activities and Key activities from Admin Panel Event Setup General Settings

They can also set the default view for the Schedule Page from Admin Panel Evet Setup General Settings
