Sessions List
The event sessions page is structured to offer intuitive navigation and flexibility, allowing attendees to explore and select sessions tailored to their interests.
It contains these key elements:
1. Search Options
Search by Name: Enables direct access to sessions by typing the exact session title, beneficial for attendees with specific sessions in mind.
Search by Speaker Name: Allows users to find sessions by preferred speakers, a valuable tool for following industry leaders or specific experts.
Search by Description: Enables keyword-based exploration within session descriptions, helping attendees discover new topics or themes related to their interests.
2. Recommendations and Top Picks
The Recommendations block can be expanded or collapsed after the user has opened the sessions list page. If the organiser would like to hide the Recommendations block, this setting can be managed in Management → Sessions → Config → Checkbox “ Hide Recommendations” .
Recommendations: Tailored suggestions based on user activity or interests, making it easier to uncover content that aligns with attendees’ personal preferences. (May include past sessions)
Top Picks: Highlights popular or trending sessions. These are typically curated or based on participant engagement, offering a glimpse into the must-attend sessions. (Only includes session that are in Active and Featured statuses)

3. Date Picker
The date picker feature is essential for events spanning multiple days. It helps attendees view and filter sessions by specific dates, making it easy to plan a personalized daily schedule and avoid overlapping commitments.
4. Filters
Filters managed for the sessions list page can be managed under Event setup → Display filters → Sessions
The standard filters are:
Tracks
Type
Tags
Format
Product categories
And 5 custom managed filters
5. Session Information
Session Cards: Each session card contains fundamental details like the session title, time, speaker(s)/Moderators/ Sponsors / location etc , and a description if the setting under Management → Sessions → Config → Checkbox “ Show session description in session list ” has been turned on
Detailed View: By clicking on a session card, users can access expanded information as outlined in the Session Page article
6. Switch Views and View Configurations
Switchable views allow users to toggle between layouts, typically a list or grid. This customization enables users to choose the most comfortable view for their browsing habits, whether they prefer compact lists or visually rich grid layouts.
7. Session List Configurations
Sessions Management main visibility settings
Show Session Descriptions in Session List: Allows session descriptions to be visible in the list view, giving users a preview of session content without additional clicks.
Show On-Demand Sessions in All Sessions List
If this setting is turned off then on-demand sessions will display in a separate tab
Location Settings
Allow Other Location & Manage Location List: Flexibility to manage multiple session locations
Hyperlinking Custom Locations:
Allow Address: Enables detailed address information for physical venues, supporting easier navigation
Show Moderators in Speaker List: Moderators will be included on the Speakers page, in addition to displaying in the Delegates page
Tracks as Part of Content Session Filters: Track will displayed s an option in the “Filters” area
Hide Recommendations: Recomendations block will be collapsed by default
