Service Badges

Feature Purpose:

Exhibitors often require the services of people during trade shows, for example hostesses, interpreters, or technical support staff. To enable these service providers to enter the show, exhibitors can use the Service Badge feature.

The purpose of the Service Badge feature is to allow service providers to enter the show easily and quickly without having to go through the registration process or provide personal information. Exhibitors can simply print a badge for their service providers and provide them with access to the show.

Service Badges differ from the standard attendee badges as a service badge does not include a QR code or lead retrieval information.

In addition someone registered for a service badge will NOT have a platform profile while a exhibitor Team Member will

Setting up Service Badges in the Exhibitor Manual:

1- Access Exhibitor Manual Manual Settings Add New Section.

2- Type the Section Name Select “Badges” on Section Module Save New Section.

3- Enable the Service Badge Section you've created (Toggle ON). You can also Edit by clicking on the Pencil Icon.

4- Add any information in the “Add Information Frame” section.
5- Complete the field “Badge Name (Print Version). This option will allow you to edit the service badge design under Registration Badges.

Exhibitors will now be able to add individuals who are service providers and print their badges.

Please use sqm to relate the quantity to the number of square meters which is used to determine the number of service badges allowed.

Front-end view for exhibitors:

The Exhibitor can now create a Service Badge by following the steps below:

1- Log in to the Exhibitor Account.

2- Navigate to Profile Info >> Online Exhibitor Service (Exhibitor Manual).

3- Navigate to Service Badge List, complete the Service Badge information (Name, Surname, Company Name and Job Title), click ADD and Submit.

There is a notification showing how many badges the exhibitor is allowed to create.

4- Once submitted, the exhibitor will be able to print the Service Badge from Profile Information >> Badges >> Select the Service Badge Person >> Print Icon.

 

Troubleshooting:

  • Issue: Exhibitor cannot find the Service Badge option in the manual.

    • Solution: Ensure the Service Badge section has been enabled and configured in the Exhibitor Manual settings.

  • Issue: Exhibitor is unable to print the Service Badge after submission.

    • Solution: Verify that the exhibitor has completed all required fields and check if the badge is properly assigned in the "Badges" section.
