SEO Product Category Hubs
To help grow the SEO value of marketplaces, individual pages are now automatically created for each product category, with SEO controls to add title, description and metadata.
These pages can be linked internally, and externally, and indexed by search engines such as Google
What are the benefits?
Improved SEO. Category pages will start to appear in search results driving additional traffic - a great improvement for marketplaces.
Better internal linking. Category pages can be linked-to in promotional emails or marketing websites driving additional traffic to the marketplace
How it works
Each product category now generates a dedicated URL making it possible for Google to index that page and for organizers to link to that page
Frontend: Product Category
Organizers can add their text, keywords and metadata for each category page in the admin. Simply:
Find the relevant Category (under Networking & Matchmaking / Categories)

Admin Panel Setup
2. Add content and SEO information, including:
Title
Description
Meta tags
Keywords
Banners

Local Product Category Settings
3. Pages will be automatically linked to internally through category tags e.g. any product category tags on Supplier profiles will now link back to the relevant category page.
You can also link to them through other areas of the site, e.g. the navigation bar or other opportunities
4. Now the organizer also has the option to add a banner for each of the category pages and this banner will have a higher preference over the sponsor banner added for the Marketplace page
The banners on the category page have the same properties that of the sponsor banners
