Product category Auto selection Criteria
As a user when you select product categories on the Edit Profile page, Tier 1 responses can be chosen here without selecting sub-Tier answers automatically. This will produce more accurate matchmaking results at the frontend
How we can enable the settings at Backend
Go to Admin Panel → Event Setup → Networking & Matchmaking → Categories
Turn enable toggle for Select Parent Category, another option will appear Bulk selection of sub-category items

3. If the toggle for bulk selection of subcategory is turned on, selecting Tier 1 will also automatically choose the sub tier options as well
4. When “Selectable parent category“ toggle is turned off, the “Bulk selection of sub-category“ checkbox is hidden and no auto selection of the sub-tier option occurs

Frontend Setup
To apply the setting on frontend, show team needs to add the Interest Category/Activity Category field on both the visitor and exhibitor registration pipeline from Admin Panel → Registration Settings → Exhibitor/Visitor
