Speaker Page

The Speaker Page is accessible on the event website via the "Speakers" tab or link in the main navigation menu. Organizers can add a Speaker Block to their event website home page to showcase speaker profiles.

Each speaker has a profile page displaying their name, photo, bio, social media links, and scheduled sessions. This information is managed in the admin panel under Management > Sessions > Speakers.

Speakers can claim their profiles and update their own details if allowed by organisers or be required to submit any edits for approval before they are published to the site. This can be cofigured under Management > Sessions > Config.

Attendees can view speaker profiles to learn about presenters' backgrounds and expertise, which can influence their session choices. Profiles may include a headshot, title, organization, bio, and more.

Organizers can customize profile design and fields via admin settings. Speaker profiles boost presenter visibility and attract attendees to their sessions.

Speakers also influence matchmaking and recommednations in the following ways:

  • Speakers can be tagged with product/interest categories

  • When a speaker is assigned to a session, that session is also tagged with the speaker's categories.

  • Visitors and exhibitors who are interested in categories matching the speaker's categories will be matched and recommended to view the speaker's profile and related sessions.

  • Speakers can also see matches and recommendations for visitors/exhibitors based on overlapping categories.

  • The speaker's categories are considered along with the session content/categories during matchmaking.

  • Event organizers can choose to include or exclude speakers from certain matchmaking-based features like the attendee-speaker matching engine.
