 “Assigned Admin“ setting

When user clicks “Assign Admin“ button, an “Assign Admin“ pop-up appears.

After admin is assigned, “Assign Admin“ button should be transformed into the clickable admin tag. Reaction on the click is the same as for button.

“Assign admin“ field on the exhibitor page is synchronized with analogical field on the exhibitors list page (/admin/exhibitors/list) for each exhibitor.

All options for the setting are exhibitor categories that are available on the event, including default category.

When user changes category, he needs to save the page with “Save“ button in the footer to apply changes.

After new category is set, settings on the page that have custom values should not be changed.

Main container

Main container contains a set of exhibitor settings. They are divided in two columns: “Online presence“ and “Networking“. Such division moslty inherits structure of Exhibitor category settings pop-up.

By default all blocks are collapsed, exept case when user was linked directly to particular block. For example, via “Exhibitor settings/ Team members“ button on the “Team members“ tab.

Setting blocks structure

Every block has default set of settings and indicators:

  • Title.

  • Limit indicator – can be not in use for some blocks, can display value/-s of the limit or “Unlimited“.

  • Switch Off/On – indicates current state of the setting. This switch is clicable. Can be single (Off or On).

  • Restriction source – can be set to “Category restrictions“ or to “Custom restrictions“. Can be not changeble when setting is available only on one level (Category or Custom). In some cases no such indication.

  • Text with dynamic description of limits and restrictions for current category in the bottom of the block. This text contains settings names, their values and current category name.

  • “Reset to category“ button in the bottom of the block – appears when custom restrictions are applied for the block.

Switch Off/On

When block is set to the category and user clicks the switch, an interactive pop-up with text “You can change this only by setting custom restrictions for this exhibitor. It will not affect other exhibitors from the “XXXX” category.“ and buttons “Cancel“ and “Set custom“ appears.

When user clicks the “Cancel“ button, pop-up closes with no changes applied.
When user clicks the “Set custom“ button, pop-up closes, restriction source indicator gets set to “Custom restrictions“, switch changes value to the opposite.

“Reset to category“ button

When user clicks on this button, an interactive pop-up with text “Are you sure you want to reset to category restrictions?“ and buttons “Cancel“ and “Reset to Category“ appears.

When user clicks “Cancel“ button, pop-up closes with no changes applied.
When user clicks “Reset to Category“ button, pop-up closes, values of all settings in the block get set to category, restriction source indicator gets set to “Category restrictions“. Switch Off/On and limit indicator should be get set to category as well.

More specific cases

Case

Behavior

“Sponsor category” and “Sponsored products limit“ fields are not available in a category settings pop-up.

Displayment of settings in the block depends on combinations:

  • OFF + category = no settings shown

  • ON + category = fields can be changed, toggles edits via switch to custom restrictions. When user click toggle, a “switch to custom restrictions pop-up” appears.

  • OFF + custom = no settings shown

  • ON + custom = all fields shown and available to be changed

“Allow customize room for exhibitors“ setting turns on for all exhibitors globally, with no controll on category level, but with control on exhibitor level.

This setting to be shown on Exhibitor page only when “Allow customize room for exhibitors“ setting is turned on globally.

Restriction source indicator is always Custom.
Switch works normally, ON by default.

No respective setting on category level.

Setting on exhibitor level is not handled from category and the only possible restriction source is Custom + no way to switch it to category.

Same story for “Parent-child“

Settings in blocks “Online meetings“ and “Onsite meetings“ don’t have ON/OFF switch, their restriction resource is always Category and can’t be changed.

Limit indicator can contain value:

  • single – Unlimited – when both requests and confirmations limits are not set.

  • doubled – Limit: 100/Unlimited – when both requests and confirmations limits are different but not unlimited OR both numeric.

Same for chat messages limits.

RFP setting is handled from Category, so restriction resource is always Category and can’t be changed.

When “RFP“ in category is turned ON, “RFP“ on exhibitor settings page will have in switch only ON.
When “RFP“ in category is turned OFF, “RFP“ on exhibitor settings page will have in switch only OFF.

Same for Buyers list

No limit indicator, as no such limit at all.
