Security page

Feature Purpose:

The security page has a password change section and a login information table.

Password

This part of the exhibitor profile allows organiser to send a new password to the exhibitor since it might have gotten lost (in most cases).

There are 2 fields - Username and Password. The username field is usually auto-filled with the exhibitor’s username. This field is editable and has a red asterisk* showing that it can’t be empty before sending an email.

The organiser admin inserts a password for the user and clicks on Send email to exhibitor in order to send an email to the exhibitor with username and password. By clicking Send email to exhibitor the password is also saved. The password has requirements that are described in the tooltip located in this password field: Password should contain at least 8 symbols with one of them upper-case, one lower-case, one number and one special character.

To the left of the tooltip, there is an eye toggle for showing/hiding password.

Even if login integrations SAML 2.0 Login Authorization, Reach5 and IRIS are used on the event we still are able to send a password to an exhibitor.

On the bottom of the page there are Save and Cancel buttons. The Save button can be used to change the exhibitor’s password or user login and save them without sending this password and user login via email. The Cancel button is for discarding changes that were made but not saved.

If OTP is activated it is still possible to send password to the exhibitor.

If it is necessary to send an email without a username or password, the “Required field“ warning under the username or password fields appears:

If the admin enters a password that doesn’t meet the requirements the following warning under the password field appears. The warning shows the specific reason the password cannot be accepted:

  • Password must be at least 8 symbols

  • Password must have at least one upper-case letter

  • Password must have at least one lower-case letter

  • Password must have at least one number

  • Password must have at least one special character

In all cases mentioned above the respective field frame becomes coloured red. In all cases the email can’t be sent so the “Send exhibitor email” button is disabled. Additionally there is a red icon to the left of the eye toggle.

After successfully sending the email, the password is not saved on the security page.

Log-in information table

There are 3 states for this table:

  1. Empty state (with the words There is no data available to display in this table at the moment)

  2. With information

  3. If the values are more than 10, pagination appears

The table includes the following data:

  • Date (from the last to the earliest)

  • Time (with the mention of a time zone set up in Time settings in admin/general/settings).

  • IP

  • Device with version of the app or browser (IOS, Android, Web). For all loginations done via the app there is the build version and for all web loginations there is the name of the browser and the browser’s version.
