Accessing the Admin Panel
To log in, an admin must enter their username (email) and password. These credentials are set up during the initial creation of the admin account, ensuring secure access specific to each user. This native login process maintains a high level of security, allowing only verified users to access sensitive areas of the platform.
Forgot Password Options
If an admin forgets their password, there are two ways to regain access:
Password Reset by Another Admin
Another admin with equal access rights can reset the password for the user directly in the admin panel. Detailed instructions for this process can be found in the Admin Password Reset Guide.
Using the "Forgot Password" Option
The admin can select the "Forgot Password" button on the login page.
This will initiate a password recovery process, where a reset email is sent to the admin’s registered email address. The email configuration for this feature can be managed within /admin/users/emails/reset_password_admin
Steps for "Forgot Password" Recovery:
Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen.
Check the email inbox for a reset link, and follow the instructions to securely set a new password.
