Organiser Client - Admin Log In MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)

Feature Overview

The Admin Log In MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) Feature is designed to enhance security for administrators accessing the platform by requiring additional authentication steps. This feature allows admins to configure and manage MFA settings for individual users, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access sensitive areas of the system.

This can be set up in Admin panel → Accounts → MFA

Key Elements of the MFA Setup Page

  1. User Access Controls

    • Access to MFA Setting Page: Admins can select specific users who should have access to the MFA setup.

    • Enable/Disable MFA Toggle: This global switch allows admins to enable or disable MFA requirements across the selected event.

    • Disable MFA Option: Admins can also selectively disable MFA for some admins users, providing flexibility where necessary.

  2. Batch Actions

    • Batch Send MFA Email: This option enables admins to send MFA setup instructions via email to multiple admins at once, streamlining the setup process for large teams.

    • MFA Email Setup: This button provides quick access to customize or configure the content of the MFA setup email.

  3. User List and Actions

    • The table displays the list of users, with columns for Name, Surname, Email, and Secret Key.

    • Secret Key: This unique key is assigned to each user for MFA authentication purposes.

    • Send MFA Email Action: For each user, admins can click the “Send MFA Email” button to initiate the MFA setup process by sending an email directly to that user with setup instructions.

  4. Event Selection

    • At the top of the page, the Event Selection dropdown allows admins to filter users based on specific events, making it easier to assign or manage MFA settings for large event-based organizations.

This page provides a centralized view for admins to manage multi-factor authentication settings, send setup instructions, and monitor MFA activation statuses. Implementing MFA adds an additional layer of security, helping protect the admin panel from unauthorized access.
