Organiser Client - Admin Account Management: Permissions

Permissions Levels Overview

Within the Permissions feature, access to each section is categorized into three primary levels:

  1. Full Access: Allows the admin to fully interact with a given module, including creating, editing, and deleting information as needed.

  2. Read Only: Restricts the admin to view-only access, allowing them to see information within the module without making any modifications.

  3. No Access: Completely restricts the admin from accessing the module, ensuring that they cannot see or interact with any information within it.

Admins can be assigned these access levels for the key sections of the event management system outlined below.

Key Modules and Their Submenus

Each module in the Permissions feature represents an area of the admin panel or event-specific setup. These modules often have several submenus, corresponding to the granular sections within each module. Here’s an overview of each main module and the types of tasks or data it might encompass:

  1. Event Setup

  2. Registration Settings

  3. Hospitality

  4. Management

  5. Exhibitor Manual

  6. Hosted Buyers Management

  7. Marketing

  8. Analytics

  9. OnSite

  10. Data

Additional sections such as Sessions, Forms, Zones, Events List, Add New Event, User Access, Database, Tags Manager may also be available depending on the configuration and setup of the account

Custom Settings for Submodules

Each main module, such as Event Setup or Registration Settings, can be further customized through "custom settings."

The show modules dropdown provides detailed control over access to each submodule, ensuring that admins have only the permissions they need for their specific responsibilities.

These custom settings allow admins to configure permissions at a deeper level within submodules or specific tasks associated with each main module. For examplе for Event Setup: General, Build Website, Sign In Page, Categories, Payments, Business Matching, Mobile App, Messages settings, RFP, Modules Managing, Networking & Matchmaking, Country Manager

Setting Permissions with Ease

Admins configuring permissions can use the All checkbox at the top of the Permissions table to quickly set a uniform access level across all modules if a user requires the same level of access across the board. This simplifies the setup process for roles that require comprehensive or very limited access. Individual module permissions can then be fine-tuned if certain sections require exceptions to the general access rule.
