Micro-community Approvals

Feature Purpose:

Allows the organiser to moderate group posts before publications (approve or reject)

Working with this Feature:

Currently this functionality doesn’t work as expected – there is no way for admin and moderators to see a list of pending publications.

When the “Moderate posts before publishing“ setting is turned on and saved, posts will appear in the feed under the filter “Pending publications“ and this filter is only available to admins and moderators. Posts can be approved or rejected directly from the list.

After approval the post will appear in the feed and will be available for for users in accordance with the releevant visibility settings. The post will also appear under the “Approved“ filter for admins and moderators.

Rejected posts appear under the “Rejected“ filter which is also available only for admins and moderators

Troubleshooting:

• If you do not see the Approved or Rejected filters, please ensure you are a moderator or admin for this particular group

• If a particular post is not visible, please ensure it has been approved

Notes

• Posts in “Pending” status are only visible to admins and moderators
