Messages Email Templates
This article talks about the email templates that can be configured for Messages
Email templates related to messages can be found under Event Set up → Networking & Matchmaking → Messaging → Email Templates
Key email templates, depending on the functionality being used in your event or community, include:
New Message | Lets an event participant know that they have received a new chat message |
Added to Chat | Lets an event participant know that they have been added to a group chat |
Removed from Chat | Lets an event participant know that they have been removed from a group chat |
Disband Chat | Lets an event participant know that a group chat that they are part of has been disbanded |
Roundtable Confirmation Email | Tells an event participant that their roundtable meeting has been confirmed |
As a best practice, any email template not being used should have the "Disable Email" setting toggled on
In case of Multi-lingual events you can select the language in which the communication needs to be sent to the user.
Select the language and draft the email content in that language
