Meeting Statuses
Feature Purpose:
To help users manage their meetings by easily seeing what status each meeting is in
Working with this Feature:
In this article we will review all statuses a meeting may have
Incoming
Once the meeting request is created, it appears in the Incoming status for the meeting receiver. Incoming meetings do not block the calendar.
Incoming meeting request can then be Confirmed or Rescheduled, or Canceled
If confirmed > the status will change to Confirmed.
If Rescheduled > the status will change to Pending (the confirmation will be required from the initial meeting initiator)
The current status may be skipped if the meetings autoconfirm feature is enabled.
Pending
Once the meeting request is created, it appears in the Pending status for the meeting Initiator. Pending meetings do not block the calendar.
The pending meeting can be Rescheduled or Canceled.
If rescheduled > the status will remain Pending
The current status may be skipped if the meetings autoconfirm feature is enabled.
Confirmed
Confirmed status means that the meeting was confirmed by the receiver if the meetings autoconfirm feature is disabled or has been confirmed automatically if the meetings autoconfirm feature is enabled. Confirmed meetings block the calendar.
Confirmed meeting may be Rescheduled or Canceled.
If Rescheduled > the status will change to Pending
If Canceled > the status will change to Canceled
Cancelled
Canceled status means that the meeting was canceled by one of the parties (initiator or receiver).
The canceled meeting has a delete button. It does not appear in the “My Schedule” tab but will remain in the “My Meetings” tab unless deleted.
Meeting cancelation requires a reason for cancelation to be added.
