Interactions

There are 3 types of interactions available for feeds - likes, comments and shares.

Likes

Likes synchronization happens when a user clicks on “Like“ (+1) or “Liked“ (-1) button. Synchronization affects only the publication with which the user interacts.

When the user clicks on the “Like“ button, then the text changes to “Liked“ and both the thumb-up icon and the text change color to Navy Blue, and the likes counter changes by +1.
If the user clicks on the “Liked“ button, then both the thumb-up icon and text change color back to the default color, and the likes counter changes by -1.

Comments

Comments are displayed on the detailed page of the publication.

When the user clicks on the “Comment“ button on the main Group/Feed, then he is redirected to the publication’s detailed page with an anchor to the comments section.

Comments and their counters (on the detailed page) synchronization are applied in real time. After the user moves back to the main Feed/Group page the comments counter is updated.

Users can leave a comment through the “Add a comment“ field. To send a comment the user can click the “Send“ button or press Ctrl+Enter - as shown in the hint field under the “Add a comment“ field.
After the user has left a comment, the comment counter changes by +1.
Users can click on the name and photo of other commenters and will be redirected to the profile page of that commenter.
By default we display a maximum of 10 comments sorted by “Most recent“ with the most recent comment on top.
By default the “Most recent“ sorting type is applied with the most recent comment on top. Users can choose another sorting option to see the oldest comments first.
If the publication contains more than 10 comments, than we display a “View more comments“ button. After the button is clicked we display an additional 10 comments, in the selected sorting order, and the comments counter becomes “20 of 33“.
If the publication contains 10 or less comments, the “View more comments“ button is hidden.
Users can reply to other users' comments.
Users can make a “Thumb-up“ reaction to other users' comments and replies. The list of users who Liked a comment/reply can be seen in a short view by hovering over the likes counter or in a full view via pop-up by clicking the likes counter.
Users can delete and edit their comments and replies by clicking on the “three dots“ icon and choosing their preferred option. After choosing the delete option the user will see a warning pop-up. After deleting a comment, all replies will also be deleted.
In the publication settings, comments can be disabled/enabled for all Participants for this publication. This hides/shows any already added comments.

Shares

When a user clicks the “Share“ button under the publication, a link to the publication copies to the exchange buffer and the “Copied“ notification message appears
