Community Groups Visibility Settings

Feature Purpose:

This setting determines whether or not a particular group is visible to different sets of users in accordance with the group admin’s preferences.

Working with this Feature:

The different visibility options are shown below and are part of the group creation process

Visible to everyone – any user can see the group

Visible to – only users of chosen categories can find/see the group. System categories such as visitors, exhibitors, team members, speakers can also be selected.

Troubleshooting:

  • Empty “Visible to“ means no one will be able to see the group except admin users.
