Clone Registration Settings
Feature Purpose:
Allows registration settings from a previous event to be cloned so they can be re-used in another event, avoiding rework
Working with this feature:
The functionality is available in the admin panel under /registration/settings/Visitor/Additional Settings.
The options in the dropdown menu include all events from the current environment, not just the current events. You can only select one option at a time.
After clicking the "Copy" button, a warning pop-up will appear:
Action of cloning can’t be undone.
Cloning affects the following sections:
Contact Details: Located in the participant registration form under (/admin/registration/details).
Personal Information: Found in the participant registration form at (/admin/registration/information). Note that this section is no longer generated automatically and does not apply to new events.
Custom Sections: Accessible through the participant registration form at (/admin/registration/custom Section/XXXX).
Kiosk Onsite Registration: Available at (/admin/registration/onsite).
Troubleshooting:
Question:
If I copy the registration settings from a past event, can it be undone later?
Answer:
No, once the registration settings are cloned, it can’t be undone.
Question:
Will custom fields be copied when we clone the registration settings from a different event?
Answer:
Yes, all standard and custom fields will be copied.
Question:
Can we clone registration settings from multiple events at one go?
Answer:
No, only one event can be selected for the cloning/copying process.
