The Print Badge Builder offers flexible options for printing badges directly through the admin panel. Organisers can choose between individual badge printing for specific participants or bulk printing to handle large volumes at once.

Individual Badge Printing: Tailored for Each Participant

For events with multiple roles or specific printing needs, organisers can print badges individually. This can be done via the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Admin Panel: Go to Admin Panel → Management → Participants.

2. Select the Participant: Open the participant's burger menu (three dots icon) and select Print Badge.

3. Choose Badge Type: If the participant has multiple roles (e.g., Visitor, Speaker), a screen will appear, allowing you to select the appropriate badge type to print. This is particularly useful for multi-role attendees, ensuring that the correct badge is printed for their primary role at the event.

Bulk Badge Printing: Streamlining Badge Production

For large-scale events, Print Badge Builder enables organizers to print badges in bulk, saving time and simplifying logistics. Here’s how to initiate bulk printing:

1. Navigate to Participants: Go to Admin Panel → Management → Participants.

2. Select Bulk Badge Printing: Click the Bulk Badges Print button at the top of the page.

3. Confirm Printing: A confirmation window will appear, asking, “Are you sure you want to print N badges?” This confirmation step helps prevent accidental bulk printing and provides the organiser with the exact count of badges to be printed.

Badges can be printed for all participants or for a filtered subset. If filters are applied to the participant list (e.g., only “Exhibitors” or “VIPs”), bulk printing will apply only to the filtered results, ensuring efficient use of resources and customized badge production.

Important Note: Badge Priority for Multi-Role Participants

When printing badges in bulk, organizers should be aware that participants with multiple roles (e.g., those listed as Moderator, Speaker, Exhibitor, and Visitor) will receive only one badge. Print Badge Builder follows a predefined priority order for multi-role participants, printing the highest-priority role badge as follows:

Priority Order:

1. Moderator

2. Speaker

3. Exhibitor

4. Visitor

This ensures that each participant is represented by their most prominent role at the event, eliminating the need for multiple badges and minimizing confusion.
